CFSG is due to hold its AGM on 17th September. We will appoint a chair for the next 2 years at that meeting. If you are interested in applying to be the chair of CFSG please do send an email expressing your interest to marisa@canineandfelinesectorgroup.com. Also if you know someone who you think would be interested let them know.
The chair must be independent of any member of CFSG and must have relevant experience in cat and dog health and welfare issues. The chair should understand the formation of policy and be able to work at high level with Government and represent the CFSG at events. A veterinary or advocacy background would be helpful but most importantly the chair must be passionate about improving cat and dog welfare broadly.
